COLOMBO (News 1st): Another batch of 222 people who completed the mandatory quarantine period will leave for their homes on Monday (June 15).
According to Army Media Spokesperson, Brigadier Chandana Wickramasinghe a total of 13,875 people have left quarantine.
"As of today, 4387 people continue to remain quarantined at 43 quarantine facilities run by the Tri-Forces," told Brigadier Chandana Wickramasinghe on Monday.
Brigadier Wickramasinghe said as of now, a total of 882 Sri Lanka Navy personnel have been confirmed with COVID-19, adding 708 of them have fully recovered.
Another 174 military personnel continue to receive treatment for COVID-19.
The Army Media Spokesperson went on to note that 132 Sri Lankans arrived in the island from Pakistan on Monday, aboard SL Airlines flight - UL 1282.
"The passengers included 61 officers attached to the Tri-Forces," said Brigadier Wickramasinghe adding all passengers were directed for quarantine.
