Director General of Health Services confirms 10th COVID-19 death in Sri Lanka

Director General of Health Services, Dr. Anil Jasinghe confirmed Sri Lanka's 10th death due to COVID1-9 a short while ago. The victim is a 51 year old woman, who returned from Kuwait and was undergoing quarantine in Trincomalee. The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country stands at 1,162 out of which 695 have recovered. According to the Epidemiology Unit at the Ministry of Health, there are 458 active COVID-19 patients under medical care.
