13 more people test positive for COVID-19

Colombo (News 1st);  13 people tested positive COVID-19 today, and 07 of them were detected from the Kanthakadu Quarantine Facility and they are residents from Bandaranaike Mawatha in Colombo 12. Director General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe said a 12 year boy from Bandaranaike Mawatha tested positive. In addition, 04 sailors from the Sri Lanka Navy Camp in Welisara and another sailor from the Moneragala Hospital tested positive for the coronavirus. Speaking at the National Operations Centre for Preventing COVID-19, Dr. Anil Jasinghe said the Sri Lanka Navy had operated in a very 1coronaoorganized manner and therefore, the situation is under control at the Welisara Navy Camp. He went on to note, all the families of the sailors and associates are being traced for quarantine. Dr. Anil Jasinghe said there minimal reports of cluster patients in the country. He said the designated cluster areas have been controlled by authorities.
