4000 sailors and their families quarantine at Welisara Navy Camp

Colombo (News 1st);  Sri Lanka Navy said around 4000 people at the Sri Lanka Navy Camp in Welisara, including sailors and their families, were quarantined within the camp, and tests were carried out to ascertain if they had contracted the virus. In addition, a considerable number of sailors who had associated the sailors who contracted the virus, and gone on leave were recalled to the Sri Lanka Navy Camp in Welisara on health grounds. A statement from Sri Lanka Navy noted all quarantine measures are taking place in accordance with the direction given by the health sector.
