President engages in inspection tour around Port City

COLOMBO (News 1st):- President Gotabaya Rajapaksa engaged in an inspection tour around the Colombo Port City this afternoon (February 16).  The project is being implemented under a tripartite agreement between the Ministry of Urban Development, Urban Development Authority, and China Communications Construction Company Limited. The construction of buildings on the Port City land is expected to end by the first half of this year while the entire project is expected to end in 2023. The cost which is expected to be incurred by China Communications Construction Company Limited for the project is US$ 1.4 billion. The President's media division said that US$ 15 million would be spent on the construction of a building complex.
