10 Sri Lankan students return from China

Colombo (News 1st): 10 Sri Lankan students who are currently following their higher studies in China, are to arrive in the country today (Feb 4). Acting Ambassador of Sri Lanka to China K.Yoganathan said, 717 Sri Lankan students have returned to Sri Lanka from China. The Ministry of Health states, 15 people who are suspected to have contracted the Coronavirus are currently receiving treatment at various hospitals across the island. Senior Epidemiologist attached to the Epidemiology unit Specialist Consultant Sudath Samaraweera said, salivary and blood samples of those individuals are currently being tested.
