12 hour water cut to Colombo 13,14, & 15

Colombo (News 1st): The National Water Supply and Drainage Board said that a 12-hour water cut will be in effect for the Colombo 13, 14 and 15 areas from 10:00 tonight (January 10).It added that a low-pressure supply will be in effect for the Colombo 01 and 11 areas during this period. According to the NWSDB, the water cut is due to an urgent repair in the supply line. Meanwhile, a 24-hour water cut will be in effect on January 13th from 8.00 am onwards for the Peliyagoda, Wattala-Mabola Municipal limits. The water cut will also affect, the Elakanda, Hendala and Palliyawatte areas of the Hendala PS and a few areas under the Biyagama municipal limits. This is due to an essential construction in the second stage of the water project launched at the south bank of the Kelani River.
