Former Minister Patali Ranawaka speaks of a plan to attack him on the political platform

COLOMBO (News 1st):- Former Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka says that he has been targetted and that there is a plan to attack him on the political platform. Member of the Jathika Hela Urumaya, Patali says that the people created a story back then stating that a youth was run over by his official vehicle and the vehicle fled the area. "This 1000cc motorcycle that was speeding crashed into a vehicle that was turning into Sarana Mawatha. It is evident that this vehicle which belonged to our ministry back then did not in any way, do this on purpose. The accident they're talking about is a minor accident" he continued. He further said that there are some who use the media and attempt to destroy their political careers by pulling out various stunts. He added that the devious plans of certain politicians attempting to constantly punish him using an incident that occurred 4 years ago is now quite clear.
