Six including Kanjipani's father granted bail

COLOMBO(News 1st) - Six suspects including the father of Kanjipani Imran who had been detained at the Boosa Prison, were released on bail by Galle Chief Magistrate Harshana Kekunawela. The Magistrate ordered the suspects to be released on a cash bail of Rs 20,000 each and a surety bail of Rs 500,000 each. The 06 men were arrested and remanded for attempting to smuggle two mobile phones and two chargers concealed in a food container to organized crime lord Kanjipani Imran. The case will be called up again on January 8th.
