Colombo (News 1st): Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, who was on a two-day official visit to the Maldives, arrived in the island this afternoon (September 04). The duty manager at the Bandaranaike International Airport said the 13 member delegation accompanying the Prime Minister arrived in Sri Lanka on board a SriLankan Airlines flight. Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe addressed the Parliament of the Maldives last afternoon (September 03). Former president of the Maldives, Mohammed Nasheed said Sri Lanka has the most stable democracy in the South Asian region and Sri Lanka has never shared power in any other way except through democratic means and a people's vote.
