COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Presidential Commission appointed to investigate corruption in state institutions is due to submit another report to the President in September. A spokesperson said the report is being prepared and will contain information on 20 complaints of which evidence was examined. The complaints relate to leasing a building for the Ministry of Agriculture, alleged malpractices surrounding the importation of cancer drugs, allocation of public funds for the Neville Fernando Hosptial without Government take-over and recruiting personnel to the Road Development Authority. The Report will also contain information on a number of complaints currently being investigated by the Police Unit of the Presidential Commission.
