Sea erosion worsens with windy weather

COLOMBO (News 1st):- The Department of Coast Conservation states that the level of sea erosion continues to increase due to the prevailing windy conditions. Director-General of the Department, Prabath Chandrakeerthi says that this situation is at its worse in Kaluthara and Negombo. He further said that a large number of measures have been adopted in order to prevent the severe sea erosion of the Kalido Coast in Kaluthara.
