Human - Elephant conflict: Two deaths reported

COLOMBO (News 1st): A 47-year-old person has died in an elephant attack in Thimbiriwewa, Eppawela. The police said that the deceased victim was attacked when he travelling to his plot of land in a three-wheeler. Another incident was reported from Palutawa, Sigiriya where a 53-year-old person who was travelling to his plot of land was also attacked by an elephant. The deceased is a resident of Kimbissa.
