Accident in Talawakale claims a life

Colombo (News 1st): A person died in an accident in Talawakele along the Nuwara Eliya main road. Police said the accident had occurred when a speeding motorbike ran over a pedestrian.
The victim was a 47-year-old resident of Nanuoya. The motorcyclist was arrested following the accident and he is due to be produced before the Nuwara Eliya Magistrate Court.
