Elder brother of two suicide bombers arrested with air rifle

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The elder brother of the suicide bombers Mohamed Ibrahim Mohamed Ilham Ahmed and Mohamed Ibrahim Infaaz Ahmed, has been arrested during a search operation carried out at Mahawila park in Dematagoda. The Special Task Force stated that the suspect Mohamed Ibrahim Mohamed Ifran Ahmad was arrested along with an air rifle manufactured in Germany, two swords and two mobile phones. The STF added that he was arrested under the charges of carrying out a suicide bomb attack, carrying out acts of Islamic extremism and terrorist acts.
