Former Defence Secretary appears before Presidential Committee investigating Easter bombings

Colombo (News 1st): Former Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando appeared before the Presidential Committee appointed to probe the Easter Sunday Terror Attacks. The committee is headed by supreme court judge Vijith Malalgoda, and includes former IGP N.K. Ilangakoon and former law and order ministry secretary Padamasiri Jayamanne. The committee has been instructed to submit a report on Sunday's multiple terror attacks to the President within two weeks.
