Egyptian national arrested in Madampe

Colombo (News 1st): An Egyptian national was arrested at an international school in Madampe. According to police, the suspect did not possess a passport or visa. The suspect was arrested based on a tip-off received. According to police, they are currently investigating whether the suspect was involved in the training of bombers that carried out the Easter attacks. The police also noted that the suspect bears a close resemblance to the bomber that carried out the attack on the Katuwapitiya Church. The 44-year-old suspect is due to presented before the Chilaw Magistrate Court tomorrow (April 25).
