COLOMBO (News 1st) - A flight with an all-female crew took off from the Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake this morning (March 08) for the first time in Sri Lankan history. This was in celebration of International Women's day.
UL 306 SriLankan flight carrying 177 passengers took off this morning (March 08) to Singapore. The crew consisted of a total of eight female employees. The cockpit crew included the flight's pilot Captain Simran Gumman and first officer Maneesha Nambuge while the head of staff was Mirinda Rodrigo.
