Gota's trial on misuse of state funds begins at Special High Court

Colombo (News1st)- Indictments were read out against the Former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa and seven other defendants when they arrived at the special high court in Colombo today (January 22). Rajapaksa arrived in court for the case pertaining to the misuse of state funds in the construction of D.A. Rajapaksha memorial museum. The special high court ordered on the 17th of January that the case filed against seven defendants including the former defense secretary to be taken up continuously from today.
