Shooting In Thanamalwila Leaves One Injured

COLOMBO (News1st);A person has been injured in a shooting incident that occurred in the Galwalayaya area of Thanamalwila.

The victim of the shooting, which took place last night, is a 30-year-old resident of the same area.

Police stated that an unidentified individual carried out the shooting.

After being admitted to the Thanamalwila Hospital, the injured person was transferred to the Hambantota Hospital for further treatment.

Thanamalwila Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
