Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to Meet President Dissanayake for Bilateral Talks Today

COLOMBO (News1st); Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who arrived in the island yesterday, is scheduled to meet President Anura Kumara Dissanayake this morning for bilateral discussions.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that , the Indian Defence Minister is set to hold a cordial interaction with senior officials of the Ministry of Defence.

A meeting between Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya and Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will also take place this afternoon.

Furthermore, the Indian Defence Minister is scheduled to attend a Bodhi Pooja religious ceremony at the Gangaramaya Temple in Colombo this afternoon.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs added that he is scheduled to visit the Seetha Amman Temple in Nuwara Eliya tomorrow morning.

Foreign Affairs Minister Vijitha Herath stated that three agreements are scheduled to be exchanged between India and Sri Lanka during the meeting between Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and President Anura Kumara Dissanayake this morning.
