COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police say that “Keselwatta Dinusha,” an organised criminal who was arrested in India and brought back to Sri Lanka, is being detained and questioned for 90 days.
This was revealed in an investigation report submitted to the Colombo Magistrate’s Court.
The case was taken up before Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama.
During the proceedings, the OIC of the Keselwatta Police informed the court that further investigations are underway in connection with eight criminal incidents, including murders, robberies, and assaults.
The Chief Magistrate ordered that the complaint be recalled on the 14th, and further instructed that an update on the progress of investigations be submitted to the court on that date.
