20 Injured in Bus Collision on Badulla-Bibile Road

COLOMBO (News1st): At least 20 people have been reported injured following a collision between two passenger buses that occurred in Yalkumbura on the Badulla-Bibile road.
According to the police, the accident occurred when a bus traveling from Badulla to Bibile collided with another bus traveling from Senapathigama to Bibile.
The injured individuals have been admitted to the Bibile Hospital.
Police confirmed that the condition of the injured individuals are not critical.
The driver of the bus traveling from Senapathigama to Bibile has been arrested in connection with the accident.
Police say that the driver of the bus is scheduled to be produced before the court.
