COLOMBO (News 1st): The exhibition of the Sarvanna relics, brought from India, will be held at the Hunupitiya Gangaramaya Temple, Colombo, from February 4.
The relics are being brought to Sri Lanka with the support of the Indian government. The Ministry of Buddhasasana stated that the exhibition will continue until February 12.
Meanwhile, Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, Chief Organizer of the Government Party, met with the Most Venerable Warakagoda Sri Gnanarathana Thero of the Asgiri Chapter of the Siam Sect to brief him about the exhibition.
The Minister noted that the Sarvanna relics discovered in Gujarat will be on display in the country.
