Gampaha Baba’s Revelations Lead to Ammunition Discovery

COLOMBO (News 1st); Fifty T-56 bullets were discovered buried near the 18th post of the Mahabage Highway, based on information provided by a suspect known as 'Gampaha Baba', who was arrested alongside Ishara Sewwandi.

Police say, the suspect revealed that the ammunition was supplied by Kehelbaddara Padme a known organized crime figure.

Further investigations into the discovery are being carried out by the Peliyagoda Police Crime Division.
