Eight-Hour Water Cut For Several Areas In Gampaha

COLOMBO (News 1st) – The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced an eight-and-a-half-hour water supply interruption in several areas due to essential maintenance work on the electricity system at the Biyagama Water Purification Plant. 

The interruption will occur tomorrow from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

The affected areas include the municipal council regions of Peliyagoda, Wattala, Ja-Ela, Katunayake, and Seeduwa, as well as the urban council regions of Kelaniya, Wattala, Biyagama, Mahara, Dompe, Katana, Minuwangoda, and Gampaha.

The NWSDB has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to consumers due to this interruption.
