COLOMBO(News 1st) - The Department of Census and Statistics reported that Sri Lanka's inflation rate saw a slight improvement in February 2025, rising to -3.9% from -4.0% in January 2025.
Sri Lanka's inflation rate, measured by the National Consumer Price Index (NCPI) has improved to -3.9% in February 2025, up from -4.0% in January.
While still negative, the data shows a small easing in the overall price decline.
Food inflation also rose to -1.1% from -2.5%, while non-food inflation stood at -6.0%, showing a slight adjustment from -5.2% January.
