COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Sri Lankan Embassy in South Korea says that no Sri Lankans have been harmed by the forest fires raging in the southeastern regions of the country.
The embassy stated that it is closely monitoring the situation of Sri Lankans living in those areas.
There are about 35,000 Sri Lankan workers in South Korea.
Four people have died due to the forest fires in the southeastern regions.
Continuous operations are underway to extinguish the fires.
