PAFFREL to Commence Election Monitoring for LG Polls on 17th March

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The People's Action for Free and Fair Elections (PAFFREL) organization says that it will begin election monitoring activities for the upcoming local government elections on the 17th of this month.

Executive Director of PAFFREL, Rohana Hettiarachchi, said that preliminary plans have been formulated through discussions with district coordinators.

Rohana Hettiarachchi also mentioned that plans are in place to establish a complaints unit at the PAFFREL head office.
