COLOMBO (News 1st) – The Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Training has announced the commencement of a nationwide survey to explore the optimal relocation of schools to ensure equal education opportunities for all students.
Deputy Minister Madhura Senewiratne stated that the survey will examine several criteria to determine the best approach for relocating primary and secondary schools.
He highlighted that the lack of physical resources in schools with a small student population has led to unequal educational opportunities for children.
The primary goal of this initiative is to provide every child with the necessary environment for a quality learning experience, according to Deputy Minister Senewiratne.
