100 Police Officers Deployed for Waste Management Program in Western Province

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Government has decided to deploy 100 police officers to ensure the continued implementation of the waste management program in the Western Province. 

Minister of Public Security Ananda Wijepala said that a committee has also been appointed to oversee waste management initiatives.

This decision was made following discussions held in Parliament.
