Ministry of Education to Review Education Reform Programs from the Past Five Years

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education has decided to review the various programs concerning education reforms, implemented over the past 5 years. 

Ministry Secretary Nalaka Kaluwewa says that various proposals concerning educational reforms have been put forward in the recent past, by several committees and institutions such as the National Institute of Education (NIE).

However, those proposals had not reached the stage of being implemented. 

The Secretary says that following the review of these proposals and programs, a brand new education reform proposal will be put forward, in compliance with the incumbent government's policy.
