Two Arrested in Connection with Nedimala Shooting

COLOMBO (News 1st):

Officers from the Western Province Crime Division South range have apprehended two suspects in connection with the shooting incident in Nedimala, Dehiwala.

According to the Police, one of the suspects was found in possession of a foreign-made revolver and was arrested while riding a motorcycle in Panagoda.

The primary suspect, a 27-year-old resident of Hadapangoda, was arrested in connection with the shooting. 

The second suspect was apprehended in Athurugiriya, following information obtained during the interrogation of the first suspect.

Police have confirmed that the murder was orchestrated by an organized criminal network operating from abroad.
