Over 175 New Faces in This Year's Parliament

COLOMBO (News 1st); This year's Parliamentary election is quite special as over 175 new faces will be seen at today's inaugural Parliamentary session.

The majority of these first-time MPs have been elected from the National People's Power. 

Meanwhile, a workshop series will be held on the 25th, 26t,h and 27th of this month, for MPs who entered Parliament for the very first time. 

During these sessions, MPs will be briefed on parliamentary procedures and the operational processes of Parliament.

General Secretary of the Parliament Kushani Rohanadheera says that the necessary information will be provided to MPs on these days.
