NDF Holds Talks on National List Candidates

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The New Democratic Front held discussions on Wednesday (20) at the election office of former President Ranil Wickremesinghe in Colombo regarding the party's national list for the upcoming election.

Ravi Karunanayake has been nominated by the party's general secretary for one of the two national list seats.

The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna faction of the alliance has proposed former minister Kanchana Wijesekera for the other seat.

Other former parliamentarians, including Faiszer Mustapha, A.L.M. Athaullah, and Nimal Lansa, are also being considered for nominations.

A final decision on the national list has yet to be made.
