COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka has been recognized as a "Tier 2 Advancing Nation" in the 2024 Global Cybersecurity Index (GCI).
The GCI ranking, which evaluates countries' cybersecurity efforts, commended Sri Lanka for its dedication to improving its cyber defense capabilities.
Sri Lanka's efforts have been driven by various initiatives, including strengthening its cybersecurity policies, expanding workforce training, and improving overall resilience to cyber threats.
