COLOMBO (News 1st): The Department of Prisons said that steps have been taken to temporarily suspend the services of a chief jailer and a warden.
The department said that the action was taken under allegations of improper relations with inmates.
The department said that the officers have been temporarily suspended pending a disciplinary investigation.
