The Presidential Media Division says that attention has been paid to the digitization of social welfare programs for low-income families.

The Presidential Media Division also says that a discussion about it was held yesterday afternoon under the leadership of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

The importance of digitizing the information about the paddy storage system has been discussed in order to stabilize the price of rice and find long-term solutions to the shortage of rice.

In the upcoming new school term, attention has been drawn to the digitalization of the subsidy distribution program and the fertilizer subsidy program to be provided for the children of low-income families.

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake appointed Dr. Hans Vijayasuriya as the Chief Presidential Adviser on Digital Economy.
