CEB to issue paperless bills from 2023

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Sri Lanka's Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera said that a decision was reached by the Ceylon Electricity Board to introduce paperless bills & receipts to all customers from January 2023.

This measure will be adopted to reduce expenses within the CEB, tweeted the Minister.

During a meeting with the CEB management instructions were given to hold the ongoing construction work of the CEB's new headquarters, he added.

Kanchana Wijesekera further added that it was decided to regulate the fixing of street lamps & operating street lamps.
