Kegalle Shooting: SJB Organizer arrested

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Kegalle Organizer for the Samagi Jana Balavegaya Lakshman Dissanayake was arrested on Thursday (1) evening over the incident where a woman was shot dead.

The body of a woman with gun shot injuries was discovered inside the Party Office building of Lakshman Dissanayake.

The deceased was identified as 36-year-old Sakunthala Weerasinghe from Kamburugala.

Sri Lanka Police said the woman visited the premises on Thursday (1) morning.
