Protest opposite Trincomalee Navy Camp

COLOMBO (News 1st); A protest is currently underway opposite the Sri Lanka Navy Camp located in Trincomalee.

Locals have converged outside the Navy Camp after information claimed that Ex-Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and his family has sought refuge at the Navy Camp.

However, News 1st CANNOT independently verify these claims.
