Sri Lankans continue to protest against Government

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lankans engaged in protests against the Government on Tuesday (5) night as well without the intervention of Politicians or Political Parties.

People in many parts of the country staged such protests, calling for an immediate solution to the crisis in the country, and for the current Government to step down.

The youth in Hambantota staged a protest last night against the current political and economic situation.

The News 1st Correspondent said that all roads in Hambantota were blocked due to the protest.

Similar protests were held across the island, calling for the President, and the government to step down.
