Turn off street lights from today ; Basil Rajapaksa

COLOMBO (News 1st); Minister Basil Rajapaksa has instructed all heads of Local Government bodies of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) to turn off all street lights from Monday (7) until March 31st, 2022.
The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) has announced that it will send a letter to Basil Rajapaksa informing him of possible alternatives to save electricity with minimal impact on daily life.
