Summons issued on IGP to provide evidence on Easter Attacks case

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Colombo Permanent High Court Trial-at-Bar issued a summons on Inspector General of Police C. D. Wickramaratne to be present in court on the 29th of November 2021, to provide evidence in the Easter Attacks Case.
He is expected to provide evidence in the case filed against Ex-Police Chief Pujith Jayasundara and Ex-Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando, who are charged under 855 counts individually, with failing to prevent the 2019 April 21st Terror Attacks.
