Party Leaders to meet today

COLOMBO (News 1st): A Party Leader's meeting is due to be held at the Parliament at 03:00 p.m. today (17). Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena is due to preside over the meeting. Serjeant-at-Arms of the Parliament, Narendra Fernando said that the Party Leaders will discuss how the Parliament will convene next week. Parliamentary sessions have been limited to two sittings per week due to the present COVID-19 situation. The Serjeant-at-Arms further stated that Rapid Antigen Tests will be conducted on Parliamentary staff next Tuesday (21).
