2,425 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday (03); 74 COVID-19 deaths confirmed for Monday (02)

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka recorded a total of 2,425 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday (03), said the Department of Government Information.
2,423 of these cases were from the Post-Avurudu Outbreak and the other 02 had tested positive following their arrival from overseas.
Accordingly, a total of 28,878 people are being treated in hospitals.
A total of 316,219 confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported in Sri Lanka out of which 282,770 recovered and 4,645 died of the coronavirus.
The Director General of Health Services on Tuesday (03) said 74 COVID-19 deaths were confirmed for Monday (02).
