Gammadda launches Online Wesak Zone

COLOMBO (News 1st); As Sri Lanka observes Wesak at homes today, Gammadda has made it possible to mark this important day online, with the launch of an Online Wesak Zone.

The Zone will include a Digital Online Pandol, for which the artistic impressions were created by veteran artist Hemantha Warakagoda.

The Pandol depicts the Apannaka Jathakaya, a story that highlights many important aspects of good leadership, including a foundation of truth.

The Wesak Zone also includes other options, where devotees could listen to Sermons on the Dhamma and enjoy renditions of 'Bakthi Gee'.

Gammadda, is Sri Lanka's largest rural development movement.
