COLOMBO (News 1st): The 2020 GCE Ordinary Level Examination, which began on 1st March, concludes today (Mar. 10).
All students are required to return home peacefully, once the exam concludes today (10), Sanath Pujitha, the Commissioner-General of Examinations stressed.
"The law will be strictly enforced against students who behave in an undisciplined manner, under the Examinations Ordinance," Pujitha told News 1st on Wednesday (Mar. 10).
Whilst referring to one such incident reported in the past, the Examinations Commissioner-General pointed out that the results of such students may even be suspended.
According to the Examinations Department, 622,351 candidates faced the 2020 GCE O/L exams, held this year after being postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
