2000 three-wheelers for SL Police; cabinet approves proposal

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the proposal to purchase 2000 Three-Wheelers for Sri Lanka Police, the Department of Government Information said on Tuesday (Feb. 23). Sri Lanka Police as the main institute that responsible for enforcing law and keeping peace throughout the island does not have adequate number of vehicles to perform the accredited duties, the Government Information Department further added.
