Technical Advisory Committee to develop SLC

Colombo (News 1st);  Minister of Youth and Sports Namal Rajapaksa appointed a Technical Advisory Committee for the development of Sri Lanka Cricket on Friday (05).

The primary role of the said committee would be to advise the minister, ministry officials, and the National Sports Council on all matters related to Sri Lanka Cricket. The committee comprises of the following members 1. Aravinda de Silva - Chairman 2. Roshan Mahanama - Member 3. Muttiah Muralitharan - Member 4. Kumar Sangakkara - Member The committee has been tasked to work closely with Sri Lanka Cricket in order uplift the standard of cricket both domestically and internationally, thereby ensuring and inculcating a sustainable high standard of cricket in Sri Lanka. The has nominated the above names to Sri Lanka Cricket to be considered for appointment as a cricket committee under Sri Lanka Cricket in addition to their appointment to the ministry.
